Presentation of Lufthansa project to MCAST students |

iAS staff has held the second consecutive presentation and tour of the LTM Hangar Facilites, this time for MCAST students. The presentation focused on various managerial aspects that were essential in order for the unique project to succeed. The students, comprising of second and third years attaining the Higher National Diploma at the Institute of Building and Construction, showed interest mostly on the technical ground works carried out at different stages of this project. On the other hand, iAS staff revealed that they believe the system adopted in house with regards to the order of filing, drawing scheduling and keeping daily records, resulted in delivering efficient work in the stipulated time frame and professional efficiency.
iAS were commissioned by Lufthansa in early 2007 for project management, cost management and architectural and structural design. The project had to be sufficiently complete by November 2008 to enable the first wide body aircraft to be serviced in the facility. It was officially inagurated on 4th of April 2009.
